Last week, Kanzi Resource Centre welcomed 48 students from Gifted Hands School for an engaging computer lesson aimed at strengthening their digital literacy skills.
With a stable internet connection throughout the session, the students were able to participate fully, explore technology with confidence, and gain practical computer skills in a supportive learning environment. Moments like these remind us of the growing importance of digital access in preparing young people for the future.
As more learners continue to visit the centre, we are encouraged by the increasing demand for our programmes. At the same time, this growth has highlighted a few immediate needs that will help us continue providing a safe and effective learning space:
- Additional tables to accommodate more learners comfortably
- Electrical extension cables for our computer workstations
- Chargers for the iPads
- Improved water supply for the washrooms
We are also inviting more volunteers to join our mission. Whether you can mentor, teach, or simply spend time encouraging our learners, your presence can make a meaningful difference. Together, we can continue creating opportunities for young people to learn, grow, and discover their potential.
