Founding member of Kanzi Kibera Friends, Revd Cyprian Yobera, has recently been to the USA on a joint mission to finalise his training in Leadership And Mentoring and, at the same time, raise awareness of the vision and work of Kanzi Kibera Friends in Kenya.
He had a speaking engagement in Pennsylvania, at Temple University’s Organisation Of African Students and other meetings whilst there including with a group of Kenyans living in Philadelphia.
Cyprian is mindful of the potential support in the USA for fundraising towards the costs of educating those less fortunate in the slums of Kibera. He is excited by the prospects opening up for Kanzi after such a successful trip Stateside.
